In the Mimbres River Basin along the 180 corridor of Grant County, the Grant County Collaborative Group is the largest group consisting of 21 water systems and interested parties.

Olga Morales-Sanchez provides technical assistance to water and waste water systems in the southern part of the state. She assists communities with their water systems to develop rate studies, comply with administrative orders from the regulatory agencies, and assists with capacity development in the technical, managerial and financial training to utility board members. Ms. Morales-Sanchez also provides board responsibility training and assists communities impacted by the new Arsenic Standard. She supports communities to seek funding for infrastructure improvement, regulatory compliance, or emergency events, and participates in the development and implementation of water conservation and drought management plans. She is currently working at the Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) in Las Cruces, NM.
