Description Between the Guadalupe Mountain and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains overlooking the Sunshine Valley in Taos County;four water providers, two acequias associations and the volunteer fire department have joined together as the Sangre de Cristo Collaborative Water Group to manage its shared water resources and improve water infrastructure. SANGRE DE CRISTO COLLABORATIVE WATER GROUP'S - FINAL REPORT Facilitators and Technical Advisors Ed Moreno has been the principal of a consultancy practice in conflict resolution, public involvement and communication since 1998. As a facilitator and dispute resolution professional, Ed has helped many organizations and ad-hoc groups work together toward common goals, including reaching agreement on community comprehensive plans, resource management plans and regulations governing environmental and educational issues. Ed has served as executive director of the New Mexico Council of Independent Colleges and Universities and as Assistant Commissioner with the New Mexico State Land Office. In 2005, Ed joined The Keystone Center as an associate, primarily responsible for a project focusing on the cleanup of facilities involved in manufacture and storage of chemical materiel. A 25-year veteran of conflict resolution, journalism and public affairs communication, Ed has extensive experience as a balanced, impartial observer and participant in significant public issues. Shawn Hardeman, Water Resource Specialist with the Environmental Finance Center (EFC), holds a B.S. in Soil and Water Science from the University of Arizona in Tucson. His past experience includes working for geotechnical and environmental consulting firms. Prior to working for the EFC he was a Natural Resource Specialist for the Texas General Land Office working on various coastal issues including coastal development, public access, and coastal dune protection. He also has experience working closely with federal, state, city officials, and the general public on regulatory and policy issues.
